Every Dream Home A Heart Ache

We have a house guest and I'm very much occupied with being a good host to a long lost nephew visiting from Thailand! So, instead of writing, I am posting this cut from 1972 of a live performance by Roxy Music of the piece, Every Dream Home A Heart Ache.
An Aching, sinsiter, 4 chord surreal evocation of the emptiness of modern life addressed to an inflatable doll. Agaim, music out of time, with performace interation between Phil Manzanera and Brian Eno as Brian "plays" Phil's guitar solo by altering as it is played with the reel to reel recorder live on stage.
I am reminded that the singer and lyricist of the song, Bryan Ferry was an art student who studied under the British Sureal/Pop collagist Richard Hamilton who created a piece of pop art collage in the mid 60's by the same name.
I will try to post more tomorrow...
