Microdot!!!! What a GREAT PIECE. I have never heard of this before but thank you for posting this great art poem piece. Man you are going to have to tell me how you get clips on your blog site. Maybe send step by step instructions to my home e-mail address or where I can find it on the blogspot web, etc.

As you know, I have had poems published but.......Bottom line I was truly blown away!!!!!

Again, Great Posting

I met a guy a couple of years ago whose father was pals with the Last Poets. I still have one of their LPs on vinyl. "the White Man has a God complex" is one of the tracks. I'm sure they're still around in one form or another. This reminds me to dig back in. This was pretty much the birth of rap (give or take a few Bo Diddley songs and "the Dozens".)

Gil Scott Heron is still performing, but he has had some hard times including a spell at Rikers Island for a crack bust....
The man is and was brilliant...
Did you ever hear his piece, We Almost Lost Detroit?
That was a rap piece about the near meltdown of the Enrico Fermi Detroit Edison Nuclear Reactor out side of Monroe, MI in the mid 60's.
I think one of his origianl collaborators is working with him.
