Wedding Vows In Vegas

I don't know why, but that last post left me in the mood for something mellow...Maybe it was the bubbles and the heartshaped hot tub, or Silvio Berlusconi in the nude...
So, amazingly enough, I found a video of Was not Was performing on the Letterman show in the early 90's. One of their classic televised moments, Wedding Vows In Vegas, with guest vocals by Frank Sinatra Jr....it just seemed so frikin right!

Mike, are you familiar with this band? WasnotWas?
One of the greatest conceptual music machines of the ate 20th century and into this one.
The bass player, don was is also a producer who worked with Khaled and a variety of artists like, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan and Paula Abdul.
The flutist, dave was has just as great a bresdth of production credits.
This is pure Detroit, the singers are the ex O'Jay, Sir Harry Bowen and the very illustrious SweetPea Atkinson...
They pioneered urban house in the late 70's and did some of the wildest conceptual dance records I have ever heard.
In the 80's and 90's they would have pieces written for specific artists, like Mel Torme, or in this case Frank Sinatra Jr....Ozzy Osbourne, Mitch Ryder and for quite a while the llead guitarist was Wayne Kramer from the MC5....
What a band!
