What If You're Wrong

Great SouthPark Style animation of Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, 2007 among many other books, who said, among many other things....
By all means let's be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out.
I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world.
Religion teaches the dangerous nonsense that death is not the end.
Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence.
Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.
Faith is powerful enough to immunize people against all appeals to pity, to forgiveness, to decent human feelings. It even immunizes them against fear, if they honestly believe that a martyr's death will send them straight to heaven.

Hello Microdot,
Nice clip. I have read Richard Dawkins and the book God Delusion is a very good one indeed.

No one can 'best' Dawkins in any debate because, after all, he lives in the real world, not the delusional one.

I read The God Delusion too and found it a perfect 'answer' to all of the mystery and spiritual stuff that has been foisted on people for eons.

It is so refreshing to live without delusion and I actually feel sorry for the delusional ones as they carry around that big bag of beliefs 24/7 which, in fact, makes their lives here on Earth quite miserable.
