Oh - this song is so nostalgic for me! It reminds me of days sitting on the flight deck between flight quarters, watching the ocean float past listening to my walkman on the way to the Phillipines!
Me also...it relates to a very specific period in my life. The early 90's, living in NYC working as an artist specializing in "body art"n and theatrical special effects make up. I was still playing in bands and this song was stuck in my head. I still hear it and there is a smell, adrenalin, a feeling I can't explain that only occurs when I hear music that really excited me.... Early Who...Jr. Walker...The MC5.... I still can't explain the phenomena...I can still listen to certain songs and feel like I've just experienced an instant high from a drug which hasn't been invented yet....as I said, there is a smell, the adrenalin, a feeling that I can't explain...I know what it means but...I can't explain....
