The Hasher's Dillema

A full three years before the American illustrator, Winsor McKay created what has been touted as the first animated film, Gertie The Dinosaur, a Parisian, Emile Cohl created a 700 frame animation called Phantasmagorica. It created a sensation and Cohl, who was born in 1857 went on to make many more little animated films for Gaumont Studios which were shown in the United States.  This curious little film, The Hasher's Dillema was created in 1910.
